Larger Share of Voice for Lexington School for the Deaf

11.9.2010 - The pioneering Lexington School for the Deaf has retained HLD to create a larger share of voice for its brand among families of deaf children and the professionals who serve them. HLD will deliver public relations and marketing services to the school and its three service centers, which have innovated model educational programs for deaf students since 1864.

Located in Jackson Heights, Queens, the Lexington School is the largest specialized school for the deaf in New York State, with 350 students. It offers a range of educational programs from infancy through high school, as well as audiology and speech, vocational and mental health services through three affiliated support centers.

“The Lexington School is a model program for deaf students and their families, which has been replicated across the country. Our mission is to elevate awareness of this incredible resource in New York and to help further the school’s track record of success in transitioning more deaf young people into the hearing world,” said Roy DiMarco, HLD President.
