Harrison Leifer DiMarco Acquires Kizmet Interactive
5.10.2007 - Harrison Leifer DiMarco, Inc. today announced that it has significantly expanded its interactive capabilities through the acquisition of the Internet marketing agency Kizmet Interactive, Inc. The strategic move enhances the leadership team and skill sets of its Web-based division, with Nick Dinatale as Manager of Interactive Services, Lisa Sciortino as Senior Interactive Account Manager and Chris Ragavanis as Programmer. They join HLD’s existing interactive services staff, reporting to Chief Creative Officer and Partner Ed Brennan.
HLD’s interactive services division is fully integrated with the agency’s advertising, public relations and media departments, providing clients with a full range of communications capabilities. HLD was one of the first agencies of its size in the New York area to ramp up a comprehensive interactive services program and continually infuse it with new talent and technological sophistication. The merger of Erin Edwards into HLD in 2002 gave the firm’s interactive department its first boost of adrenaline, with talent and experience from some of the country’s biggest brands.
The Kizmet team now puts HLD on the leading edge of the rapidly growing areas of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM). Many marketers are just beginning to explore the benefits that these emerging technologies can deliver when strategically integrated into both online and offline communication plans.
“SEO and SEM both strengthen and deepen a Web site’s effectiveness, by maximizing traffic flow and enabling greater dialog with key target groups,” Dinatale said. “Building a dynamic site is only half the battle. The other half is getting the right people there.”
The agency’s new SEO and SEM capabilities expand HLD’s total interactive services portfolio, which also includes Web design and development, data integration, Flash animation, database architecture, standards-based Web production, E-mail marketing and analytics.
