Harrison Leifer DiMarco Wins Gold In Service Industry Advertising Awards
5.16.2007 - Harrison Leifer DiMarco (HLD) announces it is a Gold Winner in the 2007 Service Industry Advertising Awards (SIAA). In the category of Magazine Advertising/ Series Corporate Capabilities, the award recognizes Harrison Leifer DiMarco’s series of artistically innovative magazine ads for top tier law firm Certilman Balin Adler & Hyman, LLP.
Certilman Balin is Long Island’s largest full-service law firm with more than 80 attorneys and 14 practice areas. HLD’s SIAA award-winning work is the most recent extension of a branding campaign the agency created for Certilman Balin in 2003, which subsequently launched a re-branding trend among other law firms in the region.
According to Jan Michael Lok, Executive Director of the Service Industry Advertising Awards, the SIAA is the fastest growing of all major advertising awards in the country. Now in its 4th year, over 2,000 entries were received in this year’s awards. A national panel of judges evaluated and rated entries in eleven groups and twenty-five categories. Judges considered execution, creativity, quality, consumer appeal and overall breakthrough advertisement.
“Conceptual illustration is an extremely effective way to convey a singular idea,” said HLD Creative Director John Decker. “In this campaign the advertiser wished to showcase the primary benefits offered by specific business groups within the firm. Provocative messaging supported by the intriguing graphics has helped to elevate Certilman Balin’s corporate image and increase awareness of the company’s services.”
