Harrison Leifer DiMarco Wins E-Healthcare Leadership Award on Behalf of Westchester Medical Center
12.5.2007 - Harrison Leifer DiMarco (HLD) announces that its work on behalf of Westchester Medical Center’s Web site, www.worldclassmedicine.com, was named Best in Category (Silver) in the Best Site Design division for hospitals over 400 beds, by the 2007 eHealthcare Leadership Awards. The award was presented in Las Vegas on November 4 during the Eleventh Annual Healthcare Internet Conference.
“Hospitals face a unique challenge in communicating with a wide variety of target audiences, each of which filters the branding information through its own particular set of experiences. Our strategy for Westchester Medical Center was to redeploy its Web site to function as a primary channel for constituent relationship building,” said Ed Brennan, HLD Partner and CCO.

Worldclassmedicine.com, Westchester Medical Center’s new URL, is receiving a growing number of unique visitors, more people are registering for additional information, and each visitor is spending more time on the site. Analytics have been put in place that allow both the medical center and the agency to review
which topics and which delivery methods are best received by various audiences. A newly integrated Search Engine Optimization campaign is also increasing the traffic from organic results on search engines.
